Welcome to Bizzle Dizzle for
Business Information Resources
Accounting, Management, Marketing, Finance and Ethics all in One Place
Business and Technology
This is the business and technology website that strives to make your venture a success in a fast-paced global economy. We give the accounting basics to help you prepare your finical statements, provide an understanding to finance (i.e. where your business funds come from), give an overview of common marketing techniques and give other useful resources to help run a profitable company.
All the main topic areas of an MBA are covered in brief. We also cover many topics relating to technology and online marketing resources. We feel that in modern business, the two topics overlap completely. This will help our users to develop a useful oversight of all the essential components of running a company. Hopefully, this will be a great resource to students and those climbing the career ladder too.
Topics we cover:
The measurement, recording and presentation of a company’s monetary flow, finances, retained earnings and dividends is accounting in its broadest sense. There are three main accounting statements.
Every company needs to make consumers aware of its products and services. This is done through varying marketing models, techniques and styles. In many industries, brand awareness is key. Think about your favourite sports shoes for example.
The terms finance and accounting are often confused. Accounting represents what happens to the money, whereas finance is concerned with ‘financing the company’s operations’ i.e. where the money comes from to continue trading and hopefully grow.
Human Resources (HR)
This is addressing people and how they interact with the company, company policies, systems and other staff. Keeping the ‘humans’ happy is key to a successful business, especially during growth phases. Human resourcing involves understanding the law as well as understanding people. This is related to overall organisational behaviour. Remember that for many (most) businesses, staff have one of the largest impacts on resources – especially cash flow.
This is the most focused area of many business degrees and accounting qualifications. You will not see any business or accounting course that does not cover models such as Porter’s 5 Forces, The Ansoff Matrix and McKinsey’s 7S Model. Strategy is key to business success, especially in today’s fast-paced, highly competitive markets.
